LET'S CREATE! 〰️
What to Expect FOR ONE TERM
Cohort: Children will be a part of a group that will not exceed 21, giving ample opportunity to frequently break into smaller groups for additional work.
Duration: One 6-month term.
Getting started: The first month of a program intentionally is the busiest from an activity standpoint. Laying foundational work takes focus.
Breaking it Down
Month One
Week 1: Five in-person sessions, 2.5 hours each day.
Weeks 2-4: One 90-minute Zoom session per week.
Month’s 2, 3, 4 and 5
Week 1: One 2.5 hour in-person session.
Weeks 2-4: One 90-minute Zoom session per week.
Months 5 and 6:
All weeks: Project V.I.B.E. Meetings and times will be determined by the cohort.
Focus Areas: Self actualization, understanding and growing their C.L.E.F. and Project V.I.B.E. work.
Breaking it down -The teens will be given actionable tasks to complete each week - what we call “lifework” rather than “homework.” There are no grades. These tasks are designed to encourage growth and self-discovery, so parents and guardians should anticipate unique and thought-provoking questions, actions and conversations. As the children embark on this journey - often venturing outside of their comfort zones - parents and guardians will be embarking on a journey of their own alongside them.
Flexibility: Sessions are designed to accommodate busy teens.
Outcome: Self lucidity, life skills and real-world impact.
A Program Built for Every ChILD
Whether the middle schoolers join us for a single session or the full three years, they’ll leave with practical tools, meaningful experiences and the confidence to tackle life’s challenges.
We empower teens to grow into their potential and lead their own lives and communities.
These young folks will learn more about who they are and gain the ability to put down a foundation that will carry them throughout life. The future is unknown to them - and to us. They have yet to become the person capable of achieving what their current selves are only now just imagining.
For Children Completing All three Years
Children will:
Complete six unique Project V.I.B.E.s utilizing all-encompassing participation and addressing the spectrum that makes them unique.
Build a deep, supportive bond with themselves and their cohort.
Develop a personal C.L.E.F., a blueprint for navigating life’s challenges.
For Children Completing One or Multiple Sessions
Teens will:
Begin or continue learning about everything from emotional intelligence to decision making and from handling change to goal setting.
Learn practical skills such as stress management, teamwork, resilience, financial budgeting and prioritizing.
Gain experience in followership, leadership and how they can make a difference to themselves and within their families.
Develop a more lucid sense of self and how they fit into myriad structures: family, friends, school, community organizations and sports teams.
Growth & Discovery
For the first five months, children work in a dynamic group setting within their cohorts, exploring and developing their C.L.E.F. - Consciousness, Liveliness, Evolvement, and Fortitude. Through guided coaching sessions, peer discussions, and collaborative activities, they’ll dive into the four pillars of the C.L.E.F. framework. This phase is about personal growth and building connections.
Children will identify their strengths, values and passions.
They’ll learn practical skills for managing stress, setting goals and adapting to challenges.
By working in a cohort, they’ll gain empathy, teamwork skills and a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives - all with the context of understanding who they are and what drives them.
Project V.I.B.E.
During the final month or two, focus shifts from intrapersonal understanding to interpersonal gains that help the children fully express themselves. In their cohorts, the Pathfinders will work on a long-term or short-term project designed to display a vital aspect of who they are. This experience allows them to apply what they’ve learned about themselves and see the real-world impact.
Projects are guided by the C.L.E.F. framework:
Consciousness: Identifying a desire or a want to explore and present a particular aspect of who they are.
Liveliness: Bringing energy, creativity, and action to their project.
Evolvement: Using their growth mindset to adapt and improve their approach.
Fortitude: Building the resilience to overcome challenges during the project.
From conception to fruition the projects belong to the Pathfinders. The instructors are present for guidance and to help facilitate.
The children will leave with a sense of accomplishment and the knowledge that they have the power to show the world their positivity.
